While in Bangladesh, I had the opportunity to meet and photograph photojournalist Stanley Greene. He was in Dhaka on an assignment, working with Doctors Without Borders. I was as inspired as I was intimidated..
Wasn't he uncomfortable being in front of the camera? Photographers usually are! I loved the first photo, it merits being on the cover of Time Magazine or the National Geographic. Amazing shot, Jana.
I was born and raised in the Czech Republic. After studying directing and screenwriting at Film Academy, I worked in Prague’s film and theater industry for several years. In 2003 I came to the U.S and I decided to move to San Francisco.
I studied photography at City College of San Francisco, and photojournalism at San Francisco State University. I am a freelancer, contribute my work to publications worldwide.
